Mother Nature who? In-Home family portraits are the only sessions that never get rained out. Celebrate your season of life in the comfort of your own home, where your home gets to be a main character too. Capture your family as you are in the environment that you are used to, and even incorporate some of your family's favorite hobbies, traditions and pastimes if you choose.

what's included:

year-round scheduling

In-home sessions are scheduled year-round, usually between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm, rain or shine!

location

We will take advantage of the rooms in your home that get the most natural light during your session. Typically clients use two to three rooms of the home, like living rooms, kitchens and the primary bedroom.

LIGHTING

I will bring portable studio lighting and other accessories with me to make sure that we have all of the technical ingredients covered. Clients should expect to provide electrical outlets in the rooms they'd like to use.

AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE

Your home is truly a character in this portrait session! De-clutter, but don't feel you need to deep clean or make your home look Pinterest-perfect. This is about the artistic expression of your family in the comfort of your own home. The goal is to be relaxed and comfortable, and to hopefully see the beauty of your home in a new light through my lens.

HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGE FILES

ACCESS TO THE HSC PRINT SHOP

Create albums, holiday cards, prints, canvases and other products right from your gallery in the HSC print shop. Orders are produced and shipped quickly straight to your home. Note: Print shop products are not included in your session fee, and are optional.

The HSC Experience

This 60 minute documentary-style portrait session takes place in the comfort of your own home and is perfect for young families or for families who are often busy during peak portrait seasons like spring and fall.

simple booking

Once we find a date and time that works best for you, I'll have you fill out a short questionnaire and sign your contract, you're booked! I'll send you an invoice for your session fee, which is due on the date of your session.

a single session fee

No upselling or high pressure tactics at HSC. Your session fee covers your time on set, photographer's time and talent, and your full, high-resolution, hand-retouched gallery of image files. Your fee is due on the date of your session, or you can take care of it ahead of time.

on set experience

This lifestyle session is truly at your pace. In addition to posed images for your favorite frames, incorporate your children's favorite hobbies or activities, or document something that you like to do together as a family - like family board games, baking, snacking, playing instruments and more. Oh! And don't forget your furry friends- they're family too. You'll enjoy looking back in a few years, reminiscing about what your children liked when they were younger.

HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGE FILES

Within two to three weeks of your session you will receive a link via the email provided to access your private, password-protected digital gallery. Each high resolution image is hand-retouched and provided in both color and black and white.You'll have permissions to print, download, post and share your images - but don't forget to tag your 'tog please!
